This is a 1/4 oz Silver Coin sold by APMEX. The coin is encapsulated and presented in a maroon clamshell case, protected by a black sleeve, and includes an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. It contains .9999 fine silver. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. The reverse, designed by Yves Bérubé, features a painted honey bee on a flower blossom over an embossed honeycomb, with inscriptions of "CANADA," the date "2013," and the face value of "3 DOLLARS." Guaranteed by the Royal Canadian Mint.
