This is a 0.7734 troy ounce 1992 2-Coin Columbus Quincentenary Proof Set sold by APMEX. The set comes in a U.S. Mint box with a certificate of authenticity. The Silver dollar is made of 0.900 fine silver, while the half dollar is composed of Copper/Nickel bonded to an inner core of pure Copper. The obverse of the Silver dollar features Columbus with a globe and ships, while the half dollar shows Columbus landing in the New World. The reverse of the Silver dollar displays the Santa Maria and the Space Shuttle Discovery, and the half dollar features the Niña, Pinta, and Santa Maria.
