This is a 1934-A $1,000 Federal Reserve Note sold by APMEX. It is housed in an inert currency holder and graded Extra Fine-40 by PMG. The note features a portrait of Grover Cleveland on the face and the numeral 1000 with the phrase 'One Thousand Dollars' on the back. Although still legal tender, high-denomination bills like this were last printed in 1945 and discontinued in 1969.
