This is a 1928 $500 Federal Reserve Note sold by APMEX. It is graded Extra Fine-40 by PMG and comes housed in an inert mylar holder. The note features a portrait of William McKinley, the 25th U.S. President, on the face and the numeral 500 with the phrase 'Five Hundred Dollars' on the back. Although still legal tender, high-denomination bills like this were last printed in 1945 and discontinued in 1969.
